Spring beauty

Spring is (not really) here! And so there is a new beauty update. I tried out a few new products and the ones in this post made the favourite-list.

As a woman carrying tons of unnecessary things in her bag, presenting me a small bottle of perfume rather than a big one puts an immediate smile on my face. The perks of its proportion also result in being able to experiment more and switch from time to time. When swinging from a romantic to a more coolish mood, the YSL 'Mon Paris' perfume and Crinoline Green body fragrance of and other stories will do.

I'm not a tough one when it comes down to making hair product related choices.  I've been a Shu Uemura fan for quite a while so I'm just sticking to this one.

As I mentioned before, talking about skincare products is a different thing. These Caudalie products are 100% hypoallergenic and therefore perfect for my risky skin.

YSL has added some poppy colours to her SS17 product range, and I'm very thankful for that. I remember applying neon yellow and orange to my nails in fifth grade, so I guess it comes as no surprise that this fiery red has no secrets for me.

Lastly, I must admit that the use of eyeshadow and blush was something I did in the 90s. Besides the rare moment I had a subtle smokey eye, my eyelids have been stayed untouched for a while now. This nude Kiko eye palette however has slowly changed things since its colours are so easy to wear and never feel too much.

With love,

Julie
